Is E-Learning a Substitute For Classroom Learning?

In the context of scholastic certification, students have no choice but to give up certain freedoms in exchange for a scholastic certification. Since e-learning is a self-guided process, students can move at their own pace and grasp the material at their own time. Moreover, it eliminates the hassle of sitting through long, tedious meetings. In terms of educational technology, e-learning is beneficial for students. When used properly, it can replace classroom learning until the graduation level. In addition, it can replace classroom learning for those with more interest in the subject. However, classrooms are also an excellent way to instill soft skills, such as communication and interpersonal skills. The time and effort spent on e-learning should not be underestimated.
